Put licenses and certifications near the top
List your RN license with the state or country and whether it’s a compact (multistate) license, plus BLS, ACLS, PALS or specialty certifications with expiry dates.
Name units, bed counts and ratios
Unit type, hospital size and patient ratio tell a nurse manager quickly whether your experience matches their floor.
New grads: list clinical rotations like jobs
Give each rotation the unit, facility and hours, with a bullet or two on what you did. Put your capstone or practicum first.
Name the EHR system
Epic, Cerner and Meditech experience reduces training time, and recruiters often search for them.
